Friction Point Coaching for Parents and Leaders | Specialized Support for Neurodivergent Thinkers

“Every point of friction is a potential point of failure or freedom.”

Honor How You Were Created

If you’ve ever thought, “Why doesn’t the usual path work for me?”, Daniel gets it.

Most coaching tries to install a system. Friction Point Coaching does something different. It starts where you actually feel the resistance, in your week, in your work, in your relationships, and treats that friction as data. Where things stick is where the system is telling you something. The work is learning to read it.

Daniel is a minister, systems thinker, and leadership navigator who works with parents, ministers, and mission-driven leaders to locate the points of friction in their lives and decide what each one is asking of them. After 13 years in ministry, four neurodivergent kids, and a late AuDHD diagnosis, he knows firsthand that not every friction is a failure. Some are signals. Some are invitations. The trick is knowing the difference.

His approach is story-first, adaptive, and built around the idea that you already know where the friction is. You just haven’t had a conversation that takes it seriously as a map.

Why It Matters

Daniel’s coaching isn’t about rigid formulas or installing someone else’s system. It’s about reading the friction in your life accurately and co-creating responses that honor what you actually need. Some friction points need releasing. Some need holding. The work is learning the difference.

He serves as a minister at LBCC and coaches through Campus One80 to support students and leaders navigating life, faith, and calling with nuance and grace.

Daniel's Background

Daniel is a minister, leadership navigator, and systems thinker who helps people locate the friction in their lives and decide what each one is asking of them. He works with parents, ministers, and mission-driven leaders, with particular depth around those whose wiring or responsibilities make conventional approaches fall apart.

After 13 years in ministry, four neurodivergent kids, and a late AuDHD diagnosis, Daniel learned that the points where things grind aren’t always problems to fix. Sometimes they’re signals to listen to. The result is a coaching approach that combines narrative mapping with systems thinking, helping people read the friction in their lives accurately rather than just trying to eliminate it.

He doesn’t promise transformation in six steps or force a rigid method. Each conversation starts with your story, with what’s real right now, and builds toward patterns that honor how your life actually moves.
