Electives

Jesus called 12 guys who were considered nothing (or sometimes worse) to be his disciples.  After that, he gained more followers that scripture also identifies as disciples.  Finally, after his resurrection, Jesus instructed these followers to go into all the world and make disciples.

What is a disciple?

How do I be a good disciple?

Should I be finding and/or making more disciples?

The electives and panel discussions at the winter retreat will tackle these questions and more.

The Discipleship Panel – Campus One80 staff will give you some inspiring stories about discipleship and respond to your questions.  A great chance to hear first hand from people who are making discipleship happen..

How do I live as a disciple when I’m not actively relating to my mentor?  Join the Everyday Discipleship elective and see how your relationship with your bible is an important part of being a disciple.

If you want to be a disciple of Jesus, but aren’t sure what you should be doing to be a good disciple? Check out the A Step Behind: Becoming a Disciple elective and take your first steps into a larger world of faithfulness to God.

Think you’re walking with Jesus, but that you should be passing on what you are learning?  Attend the Becoming a Mentor elective and get some practical guidance on how to find someone to “follow you as you follow Jesus”.
